Ravenwood....5th grade overnighter!!!

All year the 5th graders have been waiting for the end of the year when they would all get to go to Ravenwood the overnight nature camp. Grace and all her friends wanted me to go as a Chaperone (YEAH!) We had so much fun! Sleeping in teepees, building an outdoor shelter, braving the extreme snow, rain and wind. It was awesome! It worked out perfectly because Dad was home to watch the other kids so Grace and I could go.

I love this girl! She is such an amazing kid. Being able to go and spend time with her and all her friends was so much fun!

Chilling in the shelter we made. Grace and a few other kids and chaperones slept in it the last night of camp.

I had to make a detour the second day to help Paul. He checked himself into the hospital for Kidney Stones. So with the help of awesome friends, they took care of the other kids so that Paul could recoup and I could go back to the camp. We have GREAT friends!

I was so proud of Grace. The last night there was a talent show and she did a solo in front of all her friends of a camp song the kids learned! She did great!

Logan is 8!

For Logan's birthday he wanted a Lego cake and he put his request in to the official cake maker! He spent a lot of time planning what he wanted to do for his friend party and he finally decided on swimming at the Summit with a few friends. Logan was so excited to get Baptized! It was a great birthday!

8 things we love about Logan!

1. He is sweet and kind
2. He has a good heart and is great at sharing with his sisters!
3. He is very creative-he makes the most amazing Lego and Zoob creations!
4. He is good at math
5. He is friendly and FUN!
6. He is a great skiier
7. He is amazing at rock climbing and peg boards!
8. He wants to do what is right!

Grace and Volleyball

Grace has been wanting to try volleyball for YEARS! Every time we are in California she is in awe at the beach volleyball players. I finally got her signed up and she loved it! She picked it up really quickly and had a lot of fun playing.
